YEAR-END SURPRISES

2011 has finally came to an end. With some surprising and amazing shocks we could ever thought of.
The album of the year was taken by non other than British soul singer, ADELE's 21. Her debut album, 19 was followed far behind by 37. The second and third on the list is Taylor Swift's Speak Now and Lady GaGa's Born This Way respectively.

While on the Hot 100 side, obviously ADELE swept it away, with "Rolling in the Deep". However, we were expecting GaGa or Katy to be on the second of the list. BUT, it was party rockers LMFAO with Lauren Bennett and GoonRock! No worries, Katy had the third, fourth and fourteenth with "Firework", "E.T." and "Last Friday Night" respectively. On the fifth is Pitbull, Afrojack, Ne-Yo & hot chick Nayer. Bruno Mars and Cee Lo Green had the sixth and seventh position with "Grenade" and "Forget You". The latter 2 had collaborated before on "The Other Side" with B.o.B. Surprisingly, Nicki Minaj had beat the likes of P!nk, Britney and GaGa! On no. 8, is the Young Money rapper's "Super Bass". Our own year end topper "Moves Like Jagger" by Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera had sealed no. 9. While the Black Eyed Peas had "Just Can't Get Enough" on 10. We though it would be "The Time".

Clearly, this year has many surprises! We wonder how could DJ Earworm handle this years?!
